Carbonacc is a carbon accounting service operated by NGS Finland Oy (business ID 2964068-5, VAT FI29640685), registered at Yliopistonkatu 31, 20100 Turku, Finland.
By creating an account or purchasing the service, you agree to these terms.
Carbonacc provides GHG Protocol-compliant carbon accounting reports for businesses. The service includes:
The service does not include: legal compliance advice, third-party auditing, or ongoing emissions monitoring.
The accuracy of the report depends on the data you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that all data submitted is truthful and complete to the best of your knowledge.
The expert verifies methodology and calculations based on the data provided. The expert does not independently audit or verify the source data (e.g., utility bills, fuel receipts).
All prices are fixed and displayed on the website. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable rate at checkout.
Payment is required before data collection begins. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. NGS Finland Oy does not store your payment card details.
You may cancel your project at any time before the expert review phase begins. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
Once expert review has started (i.e., a human expert has begun reviewing your data), 50% of the fee is non-refundable, as work has been performed. The remaining 50% will be refunded upon request.
After the report has been delivered, no refund is available.
Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the delivered report for your business purposes, including sharing it with customers, investors, and regulatory bodies.
The report methodology, templates, and Carbonacc platform remain the property of NGS Finland Oy.
The report is prepared based on data you provide and using recognized emission factor databases. While we exercise professional care, we do not guarantee that the report will satisfy every specific regulatory or third-party requirement.
NGS Finland Oy's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project in question.
NGS Finland Oy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, reputational harm, or regulatory penalties.
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable EU/Finnish data protection legislation (GDPR).
Carbonacc is intended for business customers. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
As a B2B service, the EU consumer right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period) does not apply. If you are a sole trader who may qualify as a consumer under applicable law, please contact us before purchasing.
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from the use of Carbonacc will be resolved in the District Court of Southwest Finland (Varsinais-Suomen karajaoikeus), unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
